The Pain
The pain of bearing the love for a womb,
The pain of losing innocence,
The pain of carrying the load of laughter,
The pain of blending a smile with sorrow,
The pain of spending poverty in darkness,
The pain of hiding the money,
The pain of protecting the hunger,
The pain of undigested food!
The pain of lack of compensation for
labour,
The pain of witnessing the helplessness of
truth,
The pain of singing the laurels for a lie,
The pain of carrying the undeserved in a
palanquin!
The pain of of children auctioning the
elders,
The pain of hiding a face which the world
has celebrated,
The pain of the inability to move your legs
When you want to rule the entire world!
The pain of blossoming,
The pain of preserving the fragrance,
The pain of a purposeless life,
The pain of losing the purpose of life!
Only the person who experiences
Understands the value of the pain!
When the heart gets bruised
With small frictions untold,
Life becomes,
Bitter, sour, tasteless!
Never mind,
Pain is the way……..
One who doesn’t know the pain
is unworthy of living!
The greatest gift God gives
To one who celebrates the pain,
.. a little more pain!!
